In our digital age it’s both the easiest and hardest to do, here’s why
When reading Deep Work by Cal Newport today, I had an interesting revelation.
Firstly, for some background experience, I’ve been studying alone for years. Even with no people around though, I’ve noticed that with better depth to think I have better connectivity.
For kids my age, it’s easy to doom scroll on social media, but using the time strategically is another thing.
Same with studying alone, by using the time to learn deeply, and in turn, learn better, then I’m using it wisely. Otherwise, I might as well join a study group where I’ll most likely be distracted!
But for people who chose both, they see the full-picture from both the extrovert and introvert side being an ambivert.
After all, it’s better to have balance than to choose extremes (note to self!)
What would you say, have you tended to be an introvert or extrovert, and how has this shaped you?
