If you drink coffee, you might have heard the phrase,

“rise and grind, it’s coffee time!”

You know, that knock-out phrase that gets you up from bed & motivates you to go right to your coffee machine.

To be brutally honest… this motivation is stupid.

Now before you make any assumptions, here’s what I mean: Coffee is not the main force that gives you the energy to get through your day.

There, I said it — the unbelievable.

But there are ways to use coffee to sustain your energy:

  1. Exercising throughout the day.
  2. Eating a meal before my coffee & a snack during.
  3. Drinking coffee in the late morning — mid afternoon.

From personal experience, these have really helped me to not rely solely on coffee & to get motivation in other ways.
