When looking at my website for Loomlett, I noticed something peculiar. When typing in loomlett.com the url went to a http rather than https (secure) protocol. While I’m not sure the risks for the user on an http site, please keep in mind to edit the url to https :// loomlett.com and that’ll do it. Since other sites that I input the name and .com for have https show automatically, I’ll check with Cloudflare to see if there’s some setting adjustment.
Last night I had a funny experience: I had cooked tuna steak on the stovetop, added the tuna to a salad and stored it in the microwave, and made garlic bread in the airfryer. Usually I leave them as noted since investing in a hot plate to keep flies away, and the food warm, might make more of a mess, and since I don’t know when my Dad wants to eat, I just leave them as they are under cover. So when I told him all that was ready before I took my evening walk, I said in this order, “I have a salad in the microwave, tuna steak on the stove”, “thank you!” he says, then I added, “…and garlic bread in the airfryer.” “Yay!” When I came back he was complaining of a stomach ache, and so I check the microwave- the salad is still in there, so I show him the salad and he says, “I didn’t know it was in there”. By the way, he had the same kind of salad last night and said how tasty it was. I suppose he wanted garlic bread so badly though, that even though I told him last rather than first that there was garlic bread, he just saw “garlic bread, I want it.” Unfortunately, I forgot to put a splash of ACV as I usually do, so no wonder it was heavy on his stomach… I was supposed to have had some too, but he ate it all. He says, “Oh I’m sorry,” and I say, “Sorry to you since it would’ve been better having the salad first than the others.” All-in-all I’ll remember that as soon as the garlic bread is done next time, I’ll cut half and put away for myself so that he’ll take a moment after finishing it to wonder where the dang salad is.
Lastly, I’m thinking about how to automate certain parts of this website. For example, I have the daily Update and then updating ⚪ complete list of updates as well as the home page. I’m not sure what code would work yet, a python script probably, though I want to figure out more about the inner works of the Quartz framework before trying. Idea: because this is made up of text files, I can set up a terminal script that edits ⚪ complete list of updates in nvim (neovim) with the most recent text file, that’d probs work.

Deleted dates for article titles since I noticed when going to hashtags for (ex. experiences), the date shows up next to it, and the 🌱 emoji seems to do good in differentiating between articles.
Added maybe 20+ Medium articles that finished 2023 and some of 2024, and I have 60 more to go! Boy, I didn’t realize how much I wrote, the most time I spent was fixing the layout like where it’s unnecessarily bolded somehow.
